At Borgo Lucignanello holiday accommodation is provided in 5 self catering apartments for 2 to 6 adults, and a farmhouse, located just outside the hamlet, which sleeps 8 adults and has its own garden and swimming pool (guests staying in the apartments can use the swimming pool situated on the hill above the Borgo). Whichever type of accommodation you choose, you can relax knowing you'll find everything you need for a comfortable sojourn: quality bed linen and bath towels, a complete range of cooking utensils, full breakfast supplies (milk, coffee, breakfast cereals, jams, bread, olive oil, salt, sugar) and 2 bottles of wine (one red and one white) with which to toast your arrival at the Borgo.
Casa Maria (sleeps 2/3)
PlanPerfect for honeymooners, Casa Maria is, arguably, the most romantic of Borgo Lucignanello's apartments. Comprised of master bedroom with a small double bed, a second, twin bedded room, living room with fireplace, kitchen-dining room and bathroom, the apartment has access to a small garden in which guests can dine, al fresco, in the shade of a rose covered pergola.

Casa Severino (sleeps 4)
PlanCasa Severino is located on the ground floor, beneath Casa Maria, and has its own independent entrance. The ideal retreat in high summer, Casa Severino is the most shady of all those in the hamlet. The apartment is comprised of one double bedded room, one twin bedded room, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace and a small garden area.

Casa Remo (sleeps 4)
PlanThe windows of Casa Remo look out on to the courtyard of the church and across the hills, all the way to Montalcino. The apartment is comprised of a large living-kitchen-dining room, in which a traditional fireplace takes pride of place, one double bedded room with ensuite bathroom with shower, and a twin bedded room with bathroom with bath tub. The walls are decorated with frescoes and motifs by well-known artists.

Casa Clementina (sleeps 4/5)
PlanCasa Clementina faces onto the hamlet's pretty little piazza. On entering the apartment, there is a reception room with large double sofa bed. Next to the reception room, a short flight of stairs leads up to the apartment's two, ensuite bedrooms (one with double bed, the other with twin beds), and Casa Clementina's light-filled lounge, and kitchen. Equipped with a full range of modern cooking utensils, the kitchen, nevertheless, conserves all of its old world charm, in the form of local travertine work tops and hand painted tiles.

Casa Amedeo (sleeps 4/6)
PlanCasa Amedeo has a large country kitchen with traditional Tuscan fireplace which encompasses an entire wall of the room. On the same floor, there is a double bedded room, a twin bedded room, two bathrooms and a living room. From the living room a spiral staircase leads to a sitting room, created in what was once a stable and which, on request, can be transformed into an additional twin bedded room.

Casale Sarageto (sleeps 7/8)
PlanA recently renovated farmhouse dating back to the 18th century with private garden and swimming pool, Casale Sarageto is located immediately outside the hamlet walls. On the ground floor there is a large living room and a loggia with barbecue and pizza oven. On the first floor there is a central sitting room with fireplace, a generously sized kitchen-dining room, one double bedded room, two twin bedded rooms, and a single bedroom. All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom.
Interiors have been carefully designed to exploit the building's original spaces and significant sources of natural light .

'Designed' by Paolo Alberto Rossi, one of Italy's foremost experts in architectural restoration, Borgo Lucignanello's apartments and farmhouse show how, via the careful choice of traditional local materials and the wise distribution of space, buildings can successfully complement the natural environment which surrounds them.
The pale-beige of Tuscan travertine, the warm hues of terracotta and seasoned wood, delicate trompe-l'oeil motifs, unusual hand-painted ceramics, hessian, canvas, and cotton: Borgo Lucignanello's interiors are characterized by a beautifully balanced mixture of texture and tone.

The village shop
The hamlet has a little grocery shop selling food, detergents and personal hygene items.
Typical products include Borgo Lucignanello's organic extra virgin olive oil.
The shop also functions as wine bar, with outside tables and chairs where to enjoy a glass of Brunello di Montalcino or Nobile di Montepulciano accompanied by a selection of cold meats, cheese and olives.
